School Society
As part of Grace Christian School's organization, a School Society will be formed. The School Society members must adhere to the school's statement of faith, and give an annual gift, volunteer for the school, or be given an annual membership by being a tuition paying member. The School Society is made up of mostly parents, teachers, alumni, and friends of Grace Christian School. The members must adhere to the school's statement of faith (see below) and the membership must be renewed annually.
The Grace Christian School Society will elect the Board of Education, each of whom must be a Society member, and charges them with the responsibility of the school. The board will in turn involve many of the parents on its sub-committees. For more information about our Board of Education, please click here.
The Society will have an annual meeting in April.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, inerrant in the original writing, and that is of supreme and final authority in faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16-19)
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (I John 5:6-8)
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and is true God and true man. (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:35)
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23)
We believe that all human beings are born with sinful natures and, in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought, word, and deed. (Romans 3:10-12; Romans 5:12)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of his shed blood on the cross. (I Corinthians 15:3; John 3:16)
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate. (Romans 15:4; Romans 8:34)
We believe in “that blessed hope,” the personal, visible, pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:1)
We believe that all who receive by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ, are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God. (Romans 3:21-24; Galatians 3:26-27)
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost. (Matthew 25; 46; I Corinthians 5:51-52)
